I designed and executed a marketing strategy & plan to launch Rio Transport to market, creating awareness of their specialised service within target customer groups. The work involved creating buyer personas, crafting the business story and marketing key messages, brand guidelines, and website creation. A marketing campaign, designed to launch the business to market was targeted at customers in a specific geographic region and thus included local PR, billboards, business newsletters, and social media.

Working as an outsourced marketing department for Rio Transport, I used my freelance network to complete graphic design, print, photography, and website development. I also oversaw the implementation of all marketing activities i.e. truck curtain printing, billboard placement, and social media guidance.

Result

Rio Transport immediately benefited from a successful launch to market with brand awareness created within their target customer groups. They secured a major contract with a large customer within 3 weeks of launch, guaranteeing continual business revenue.
